Panasonicย India on Thursday expanded its โP seriesโ of devices with the launch of budget-segmentย Panasonic P99ย smartphone in India priced at Rs 7,490. New Panasonic P99 comes with 16 GB ROM, 8 MP auto-focus rear camera and 5 MP front camera. The Panasonic P99 support 4G VoLTE and runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and is already available for purchase from the companyโs brand shops and retail outlets in Champagne Gold, Black, and Blue colours. Earlier this month Panasonic India launched Eluga Ray 500,ย Eluga Ray 700, andย Eluga I4ย handsets.
Panasonic P99 Features
The Dual-SIMย Panasonic P99 runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. P99 sports a 5-inch HD 720ร1280 pixels display and the device is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.25GHz coupled with 2GB of RAMย with 16GB of built-in storage, which is further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB.
The P99 comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash support for various modes like Beauty, Burst shot, Night, Professional, Watermark, HDR, and Panorama. For the selfie, there is a 5-megapixel camera at the front for taking selfies, which supports several camera modes like beauty, Burst shot, HDR, Watermark, the company said in its release.
The P99 houses a 2000mAh battery measures 144.6 x 71.8 x 8.6mm and weighs 145 grams. The connectivity options offered by the P99 include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
