There are several location trackers for parents to track their kidsโ location for safety, and most of them work quite well. A new one in the list is Auxus seQura, which eBay India is calling as Indiaโs first unique tracking device.
Using a smartphone, anyone can track the location of Auxus seQura, thanks to the GPS tracker included in it. The tracker is a waterproof one, and it enables the user in setting a safe zone, and they will be notified whenever the tracker is out of the demarcated safe zone.
The usage though seems quite apt for kids safety, the seQura tracker is good for even pets, elderly people, and valuable items that can be tracked if misplaced. The tracker isnโt that big, as the dimensions are 65mm x 33mm x 10mm. The features include Online command, history review, current location, real-time tracking, Motion sleep, device information, Device monitor, and a Panic button for SOS.
There is an app for the SeQura tracker available for Android and iOS devices. Following are the alert features seen with the tracker.
- Receive alerts when the kid is out of safe zone
- Receive alerts when the target arrives at or leave destinations
- Panic alert button sends location and emergency alerts to all members in a group
- Automatic alerts are sent when kid arrives school or home
- Low battery alerts so that the charging can be done before battery goes dead
There is a Nano SIM card slot provided in the tracker, and for the buyers, Airtel is offering free Internet data plan for the first six months, though there is no information about the amount of data provided. Though the eBay page doesnโt mention it anywhere, the location tracker is from iBerry, and comes under the brand Auxus.
It is priced at Rs. 5990 and it is an eBay India exclusive.
