Samsung added a new member to its tablet family in India by Launching Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 at Rs 47,990. Samsung Launched the Galaxy Tab S3 at MWC 2017 along with the Galaxy Book and it is already selling in select countries. The productivity-focused tablet was first unveiled at MWC 2017 in Wi-Fi and LTE variants. It will be made available in India via offline retail stores and the Samsung India site itself. Galaxy Tab S3 comes with an S-Pen Stylus and features a new glass design in the Samsung Tab family.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is the inclusion of the S Pen stylus as well as an all-new glass design. The tablet also offers HDR video playback capabilities, and a quad-speaker system that has been tuned by AKG. With Galaxy Tab S3, company aims to take a direct shot at Apple’s iPad Pro which launched earlier this year. The two even share few features like the screen size, fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers and not to forget the 3.5mm jack. The tablet runs on Android Nougat operating system.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 features include the Galaxy Game Launcher (with Power Saver, Mute Games, and Ongoing Calls modes). The tablet also supports a Keyboard Cover that’s sold separately. Finally, the company is touting the up to 12-hour battery life, powered by the 6000mAh battery onboard.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 launched with LTE variant Only at price Rs. 47,990 for the LTE variant. The tablet will be available in Black and Silver colour variants. The Book Cover has been priced at Rs. 2,999, while the Keyboard Cover has been priced at Rs. 8,499. The S Pen is bundled in box.

Launch offers include a double data offer through which Reliance Jio users can avail 28GB + 2GB of data every month at a price of Rs 309 – this offer is valid till December 31. Samsung has offered a one-time screen replacement at a price of Rs 990, for any Galaxy Tab S3 bought before July 31, with a validity of 1-year from the date of purchase.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 specifications include a 9.7-inch (2048×1536) Super AMOLED display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 (2.15GHz + 1.6GHz), 4GB of RAM; a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, an f/1.9 aperture, and LED flash; a 5-megapixel front camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and 32GB of storage that’s expandable via microSD card up to 256GB.

The Galaxy Tab S3 also offers USB 3.1 Type-C connectivity and runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat. It is powered by a 6,000 mAh battery with a Fast-charging option.  Moving along connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Galaxy Tab S3 include an Accelerometer, RGB Sensor, Fingerprint Sensor, Gyro Sensor and a Geometric Sensor. It comes with support for Samsung Smart Switch, Samsung Notes, Air Command, Samsung Flow and an AKG-tuned quad-speaker system.
