Samsung launched The Samsung Galaxy On Max smartphone on Friday for Photography Enthusiasts in India at a price of Rs 16,900. The biggest highlight of this smartphone is, the camera lenses have an aperture of f/1.7 the other has an aperture of f/1.9 which technically should entail in better low light photos. The Samsung Galaxy On Max will be exclusively available for buying from online retail website Flipkart in black and gold colours starting from July 10. At its price, the smartphone compares with the Oppo F3, Moto G5 Plus, Oppo F1s, Honor 8 Lite, Honor 8, and even the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max and Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime.

The USP of the Samsung Galaxy On Max, besides its all-metal unibody design, is Samsung Pay Mini and Social camera. The device sports a fingerprint sensor on the home button. While Samsung Pay Mini is a lighter version of the company’s Pay mobile payments service platform, which supports UPI-based payments and integrates a mobile wallet, but forgoes the NFC and MST based on offline tap-to-pay features that essentially replace debit and credit cards. The Social camera lets users apply filters and interact with social media apps like Facebook and Instagram directly from the camera app itself.

The Samsung Galaxy On Max has a dual-SIM slot and runs Android 7.0 Nougat based TouchWiz UI software, and sports 5.7-inch full-HD 1080×1920 pixels display. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MTK P25 SoC (with four cores clocked at 2.39GHz and four cores clocked at 1.69GHz) coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable by up to 256GB via micro-SD card slot. It is further backed by a 3,300mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy On smartphone comes with 13-megapixel sensors with LED flash modules both on the front and back. The front sensor is coupled with a f/1.9 aperture lens, while the rear sensor is coupled with a f/1.7 aperture lens, which technically should entail in better low light photos.
